Therapy Fees and FAQ

Therapy Fees and Insurance Questions

What to Expect from Therapy

  • Each session is $230, and most clients come in weekly to keep up steady progress and support.

  • No, I don’t accept insurance. By staying independent of insurance providers, I can keep my caseload small and provide the highest level of care for every client. That way, I can fully focus on your therapy experience.

  • I require clients to come in on a weekly basis.

It helps us build trust, track your growth, and tackle challenges as they come up.

Sporadic sessions tend to focus more on crisis management, which can slow down long-term progress.

  • Therapy looks different for everyone, but most people start seeing meaningful changes within 6 months to a year.

Growth takes time, and the focus is on building lasting solutions, not quick fixes. I believe good therapy starts with the long-term partnership I create with my clients.

Together, we build trust, tackle challenges, and work toward real, sustainable change. This ongoing teamwork helps us uncover deeper insights and create solutions that actually stick.

  • No, I work exclusively with individual adults.

  • I welcome anyone who relates to the experiences and topics we explore in my practice. Identity and background are complex, and I’m here to honor your unique story.

  • The intro call is a quick chat to see if we’re a good fit. I’ll explain how therapy works, answer any questions, and walk you through the next steps.

We won’t dive into your life story or treatment plan just yet—that happens in your first session.

During the intro call, you’ll also handle payment for the first session and complete some initial paperwork.

  • We’ll spend the first session getting to know each other, exploring your goals, and digging into the issues you’d like to work on.

This is the time for in-depth discussion and creating a roadmap for your therapy.

We’ll also go over practice policies and discuss the limits of confidentiality, ensuring you have a clear understanding of how therapy works and what to expect moving forward.

  • The fee for your first session, collected during the intro call, is nonrefundable. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

If you have additional questions or are ready to begin your therapy journey, please reach out or schedule an intro call.

  • Getting started is simple!

Schedule an intro call with me to discuss your needs, goals, and how we can work together.

This initial conversation helps us determine if we’re a good fit and sets the foundation for your therapy journey.
